Everyone has their own Chimera, the impossible dream they try to achieve but never manage to. For crumpled English archaeologist Arthur, just out of jail, the Chimera looks like the woman he lost, Beniamina. So, to help him in his quest, he reconnects with his wayward crew of tombaroli accomplices – a happy-go-lucky collective of itinerant grave-robbers dreaming of easy wealth who survive by looting Etruscan tombs and fencing the ancient treasures they dig up.
