Enjoy a guided walk in the charming wine village of Bernkastel and taste some of the region’s best wines. Cruise the Moselle River to the picturesque town of Cochem where the Riesling grape is cultivated. Sail onto the Rhine River to the quintessential Rhine valley town of Rüdesheim. Here visit the marvelous Mechanical Musical Instruments Museum and enjoy a stroll through the town’s famous cobblestone Drosselgasse lined with shops, restaurants, and lively taverns. Cruise through the dramatic Rhine Gorge—the most beautiful stretch of the Rhine River where ancient castles stand on cliffs 400 feet above the water. On a guided walk, see the famous twin-spired cathedral of Cologne, and explore the cobblestone streets of the Old City.Visit Holland’s popular, modern capital of Amsterdam, and see this 700-year-old city from a unique perspective—on a canal cruise along the elegant Grachten.

Excursions are included for the stops in Paris, Remich/Luxembourg, Bernkastel, Cochem, Rudesheim, Cologne and Amsterdam. There is no obligation to participate in the day-by-day itinerary. Also there are usually three different ‘’walking’’ paced groups for the included excursions. There is a leisurely pace, moderate and then a more active pace. Guests are free to choose which would be more suitable for them.• For any hotel stays, this is on a bed and breakfast basis.
• Full board on the ship includes: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Wine/ beer and soft drinks is served with lunch and dinner. Tea and coffee is available throughout the day and any other beverages can be purchased at the bar/
• HAPPY HOUR – we have an included ‘’happy hour’’ which is pre dinner and usually during the Cruise Directors update/talk in the evening. This includes free wine, beer, spirits, soft drinks and x1 free cocktail.

It is too early to confirm flight prices. I believe Paris will be under €100
and return from Amsterdam around the same. Return coach from Alicante around €15 per head.

As we are not bound by Avalon booking our flights there is the possibility to extend our/your stay in Paris and Amsterdam if you wish. Please confirm if this is something you would be interested in.
