On Tuesday 18th March the dining group held our event at the Al Mar restaurant in Moraira.
Lou, the owner, recently opened the Al Mar as a fine dining restaurant and in a short time has
gained a reputation as such.
This was the first time the dining group held an event at the Al Mar where a total of 83 diners
hosted by Aileen and Brian Malone enjoyed the evening.
We were not disappointed: Lou the owner ensured that all ran smoothly.
The three course menu with wine was delicious with a varied choice to cover all tastes, from
starters including oysters and lobster bisque to main courses from Grilled Entrecote to delicious
Sea Bass. The staff were very professional and worked hard to ensure that we all had a very
enjoyable evening.
It was lovely to see new members to our dining group as well as our regulars at this event.
Following the feedback on the evening from the many guests that attended, this won’t be the
last event the dining group will be holding at the Al Mar.
