We don’t normally put out appeals but, as this is so close to home, this is an exception. The devastation caused by the recent floods in Valencia is heartbreaking to see, with so many lives lost, and the damage to people’s homes and areas quite catastrophic.

We will also be having a bucket collection at our U3A coffee morning on Monday, 4th November for those members who would like to donate to this very worthy cause, but would prefer to make a donation in cash. Every little helps.

Notice from HELP – Valencia Underwater Fund
The devastation of our wonderful Valencian Community in so many áreas is heartbreaking. From our HELP of Marina Alta Charity we have contacted the Red Cross to offer our solidarity and to help where we can.

The Ayuntamiento has also just issued the following notice. Food items such as water, milk, bread, cold meats, tins of tuna and items for personal & domestic cleaning can be taken to La Senieta in Moraira or Pista de Frontón in Teulada.
